I keep a box of water.

There is something so satisfying about keeping an aquarium, but keeping an aquarium is different than just having an aquarium. When you keep an aquarium, you take ownership of it. It is your own little underwater creation to shape and to mold to your liking.

To be able to sit and watch my aquarium is relaxing. When I am staring through the glass at my fish, time stands still. I am not preoccupied with my work deadlines or upcoming plans on my social calendar. I can sit and watch for hours on end.

I created this website because I love the world of aquaria. The joy I get working on my tanks is something I wanted to share. This site will have observations, photos, and videos of my own tanks as well as other people’s tanks. Hopefully in doing so, I can share some things I’ve learned with readers and pick up new knowledge from others.
