Arowanas get much too large for a 10 gallon tank. That's probably your problem right there.

It is an interesting collection. I used to have a 10 gallon aquarium which had a 6 year old Aruwanah. Too bad, it died. never got myself to having a new one.

Good eye. Gold Gourami is definitely one of the fishes moving in the background.

I've contemplated Discus, but I currently have to move and pay for a big house. No more upgrades for now unfortunately.

My guess is a Yellow Gourami. Am I right? When my sis and I were kids we kept a lot of labyrinth fishies and molly-type fishes and a few angels.... mainly b/c our dad was soooo into keeping fish also. Have you thought about any discus fish for a bit of a challenge? They are pretty!!

You have great pictures! and I love your tank theme, very creative. I have a "lucky bamboo" also, but I only put the roots in the tank, everything else is above the water. It's very happy there, and the shrimp love going around the roots.

Remember me? I have a planted tank now too. It's my second one. I started with a 12 gallon Eclipse in LA. That was my trial and error tank. Here is my current one. http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/photo-album/56236-my-75-gallon.html

I have panda corys and otos too. I love those little guys. Had a rough time keeping otos alive at first though. Have your crays been eating your guppy fry? That's a nice saddled one you have there. I love inverts too. I have amano shrimp and had red cherry shrimp until my bosemani rainbows ate all the cherries.

My plants do that bubble stream too...especially after a water change, I have a bunch of anacharis that double as air stones.

Neat little blog you have here...anyways, hit me up sometime.
